In a letter published by online news outlet Semafor on Thursday, Musk’s lawyer Alex Spiro accused Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg of engaging in the “unlawful misappropriation of Twitter’s trade secrets and other intellectual property.”
The letter stated that Meta had hired numerous former Twitter employees who had access to Twitter’s trade secrets and highly confidential information.
Threads the new app poses the most significant competition to Musk-owned Twitter to date, as various potential competitors have emerged but failed to replace one of the world’s largest social media platforms, despite its challenges.
Zuckerberg’s recent actions against Musk further intensified the rivalry between the two billionaires, who have even agreed to meet in a cage match for hand-to-hand combat.
